Kenya Sullivan

Kenya Sullivan, LCSW, received his Master’s Degree from the University of California Berkeley, where he specialized in Community Mental Health. He is experienced as a graduate-school adjunct instructor, juvenile and adult deputy probation officer, and a family court mental health professional. Additionally, he is trained as a Domestic Violence Advocate, CBT, DBT, and EMDR practitioner. Kenya’s training and private practice focuses on the impact of trauma on the functioning of oppressed minoritized groups and their academic functioning. As an Academic Success Coach, he has developed and implemented the Academic Beast Mode Workshop Series and Skills Phone Coaching to various Community and CSU campuses. to provide 24-hour psychological, social, and emotional regulation support to students, faculty, and staff.
